We only work with 100% organic cotton and recycled materials

At Jack Impala, we work with our supplier to source garments using only the best raw materials, grown and manufactured in such a way that they do not harm people, animals and the environment. We only use GOTS-certified organic cotton from India, recycled polyester from China and other sustainable materials such as ModalĀ®.

Organic cotton, how does it differ from 'ordinary' cotton?

Organic cotton, unlike regular cotton, is grown without chemical insecticides, fertilizers or pesticides. This means that no hazardous or toxic substances end up in the soil, rivers and lakes, so that farmers and their families can live in a safe environment.

What else do we take into account?

Controlling every step of the production process

To ensure that our clothing is produced in responsible working conditions, we work together with the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). They set up mechanisms for humane working conditions, such as an internal code of conduct, monthly reports and daily visits to our partner factories.

Measurement of emissions and consumption, awareness and environmental impact

Data is collected throughout the supply chain to better understand the environmental impact there is and to minimize it. In terms of wastewater, all partner factories are equipped with state-of-the-art water treatment plants that remove toxic substances from the water for safe reuse.
